I shoot with the Tru-fire Crackshot. It is a handheld type not a strap-on. I wouldn't change it for the world! Sure if I wasn't carefull I might drop it but it gives me a longer draw length, is quiet and very dependable. Been using the same one for at least five years now.

I had a caliper release as my first one. After a few months I lost two good arrows and punched myself in the mouth because of pre-mature release of the string. Tried adjustments and other things but now go.

Now I have a Fletch Hunter Shorty (2 years now) and I will not switch to anything else. Try it and see for yourself. Good Luck

I'm shooting the Tru-Ball Tornado and love it. Switched from a Winn Free Flight c-10 to the Tru-ball, much smoother release.

Phantom,

I recently picked up the True-Fire Hurricane model. It is available with several different strap configurations, my is the leather buckle strap.

I find this release to be very smooth. The trigger is fairly light, some like this, some don't.
