HOW IS UR SNAKE POPULATION?
Tonight I was walkin my dogs and when i went to put them back in the pen i noticed they were looking in the corner kinda odd.So I went to take a look and sure enough there was a 3 foot copperhead there.I got the dogs out of the pen and went inside to grab a pistol when i came back out it had moved to the outside of the cage so i took the pistol loaded with shot shells and shot it.This is the second 3 foot copperhead that i have shot in 2 days i was just wondering how the snakes are by u guys?

RE: HOW IS UR SNAKE POPULATION?
My 4 yo son and I were at my lease Thursday filling my feeder, and we walked right up on a small 18" copperhead. First snake I've seen there in a while but my son thought it was the coolest thing, since he had never seen one.

RE: HOW IS UR SNAKE POPULATION?
We don't have any poisonous snakes in this part of Nebraska, but we do have some black snakes and such. We just began raising Guinea hens this summer, so I'm sure they'll care of a few snakes as well.

RE: HOW IS UR SNAKE POPULATION?
Not many poisonous snakes in my area. Once in a while we might see a copperhead but that's very rare. We have mostly garter and black snakes.

RE: HOW IS UR SNAKE POPULATION?
We don't have many ,
mostly non-poisonous like garter snakes and racers . Cottonmouth , copperhead , and rattlers are not that common . |
RE: HOW IS UR SNAKE POPULATION?
I havent seen too many round here in awhile. Me and my one buddy go snake hunting and we went yesterday and saw nothing. The year before last we killed like 10 or 12 copperheads and like 5 rattlers. This summer he has only got 3 copperheads. From what he says he hasnt been seeing very many at all.

RE: HOW IS UR SNAKE POPULATION?
Here in southeast texas ,if you go a hundrded yards in the woods that are even remotely wet and look hard enough, you could easily see a couple cottonmouths.
