GH,

I tuned one my backup bow this year to shoot 100gr 3 blade muzzy's and I found that for me, aluminum shafts, for the spine and turning the blades to offset, not align with the fletches on the arrow, shot 3 " groups, where my mechanicals shot 2 " groups at 30 yards. I worked hard to tune my bow well. I also tried the NAP Crossfires and Montecs this year on teh same setup and the Muzzy's consistently shot better groups and flew closer to my field points that anything else.

So, my brief experience, because I've always shot mechanical and probably will this year primarily, Gator XPs to be exact, that Muzzy's are by far the truest flying fixed blades out there and you need a stiff spined arrow and work at blade alignment, just like the book and the other guys on here attest to.

Hey, better hurry up though. We wouldn't want you to loose confidence in your arrow flight this close to opener.

We all should be supporting Muzzy! They make awesome heads and they're priced half what the new fangled heads are charging. It's rediculous paying 30+ bucks for 3 broadheads! Take a stand!

SAY NO TO OVERPRICED HEADS!:)


This add was an opinion and is in no way disputing your claim to have the best heads money can buy in your quiver! All arguments should be directed to the company in which you purchased your heads. :D

i have shot the rocket aerohead.ultimate steel 100,s. they are fixed, some guys think they are small cause they aren't an inch and a half but the three deer i have taken with them DO NOT know the difference. also the rockets are super tough and fly like fieldpoints!!!

I am going to be using the stingers and slick tricks this year.. I to am doing the same thing you are doing and i have found these heads and others to fly great outta my setup.. The stingers are guaranteed for life though.. Cut on impact and in 2 or 4 blade .. I will be using the 4 blade.. It's the main cutting blade and 2 bleeders..

I am also using the quick spins with a slight offset and i can pretty much shoot any broadhead out of my setup with good accuracy..

The stingers are 3 for $20.00-$23.00 (guaranteed for life)

The slick tricks are 3 for $21.00 thats with tax.. At least thats what i paid for them..

The new nitrons are pretty good too.. And the crossfires are a new head and fly good too.

And like others have said MUZZY'S ARE BAD TO DA BONE!!!!
So many choices so little money..:D

Just try a few different heads and see which fly the best for ya.....

muzzy what else 6 for thirty and what is 5.00 when you probably spent that driving to hunt and then your going to compromise maybe a shot of a lifetime for a few dollars

What, no Thunderhead supporters? Not putting Muzzy down because they make a great head but where`s all the people who shoot Thunderheads? Thunderheads and Muzzy great all round fixed blade heads, I`m justed voting for Thunderheads;).

I know that Muzzy's and Thunderheads are very popular but there is no mention of the Wasp Hammer's. These shoot like my field tips with no tuning whatsoever. Maybe I was just lucky but I think these are great BH's
