I'm switching from mech.'s to fixed...need advice...
What's the best broadhead on the market considering cost? That is, best for the price!! I'm going to count the replies and actually buy what is the most recommended. I'm shooting a Hoyt MagnaTech with 60# draw. I have lost faith in the mechanicals.

well fella, why did u lose faith in the ol trusty mechanical? I do know if u switch it will take some fine tuning, i shoot mechanicals and the other day i shot a fixed and boy what a drop it had, like a rock!! But nap has some new one out for 04 like triton, and a few others that are top of the line, around 30$ for three! Kinda steep for me, but you get what u pay for i reckon:)

Muzzy's go on sale every year about this time at Dick's. I just picked up my yearly 6 pack for $24.99

Groundhunter, dont you think you should count the votes from team19 as more important then anyone else:)
I made the same switch this year. I plan on hunting 50% of the time from my portable ground blind this fall and want to take advantage of the shoot through windows. I have switched from jakhammer 100s to muzzy 100s, so far all is well and you have to love the penitration. |

Groundhunter-I am doing the same thing this year. I will be shooting the Muzzy 100 3 blade this year. I shot Spitfires for 3 years, and am going back to fixed. I shot my bow with the muzzy practice blades, and my groupings were great!!! Yo may have to doing some tuning(very minor), but for me it was a piece of cake. I do not want to have worry about my broadhead opening or not when I am on a deer!!!

Go Muzzy's all the way, little fine tuning and your on your way.

I shoot Muzzy 100 gr. 3-blade now and shot Muzzy 90 gr. 4-blade last year (3 kills). They fly well and are tough...well, except for the basement wall incident. [&:]
I've read and heard good reports on the Rocky Mountain Titantiums, too. |

I'm still a fan of the Stingers. They are a little steep but they are great heads and they have a lifetime warranty. Good luck
