Fanny pack

I need a good fanny pack. It needs to be large, doesn't need to have shoulder straps, ok if it does. It should have a good camo pattern and be extremely quiet. Not one of those with the loud scratchy surface, you know?

What do you guys use, what name brands do you like?

Thanks for the help!

Fanny pack[:@] it just sounds wrong:D.

I just bough a new one as my older one was too small and not very organized. I just got a Redhead H2O Magnum Pack. It's 780 cu" (just smaller then .5 cu") so it's pretty roomy and the diffrent compartments make organizing easier. It has a water bottle and room for a water bladder. It's a little stiff as I haven't used it yet but I think it is the best fit for me as it's big enough but not too big.

I personally like the catquivers with the back pack built in.. the less stuff on my bow the better. and they have fleece so it doesnt make a noise on brush... which in getting in and out of your stand is KEY.

site is here http://www.ranchosafari.com/ just click on teh fanny pack or teh catquivers.. you CANT go wrong. you can also choose cotton.

:D good luck

You can't do better than a Badlands pack or fanny pack in my opinion. It seems like the folks at Badlands have thought of it all. [link]http://www.badlandspacks.com/rtFanny.aspx[/link]

Good luck

You won't find any better. Ken and his crew are all top notch.

I bought a waist/fanny pack with shoulder harness from Cabelas several years ago and still love it. I can carry everything I need for my hunt; plus strap my heavy hunting coat to the pack to put on when I arrive at my stand. The shoulder straps make it easy to carry and leave my hands free of gear in case an opportunity for a shot presents itself on my way to my stand.

get one with the shoulder straps. They're a life saver for your back.
