How do people feel about getting your stuff stolen?
 

I had a boat, decoys, a stand and trail camera stolen since i have been hunting. They need to make better theft devices.

hmmm... I bet I can guess how most people feal about having things stolen... lol.

Sorry about all the stuff you lost to thieves. I have never had anything hunting related stolen that I can recall. Guess I'm lucky.

I am a thrify son of a gun. I value my bow and gear greatly. So, I wouldn't take anything that doesn't belong to me unless it was outright offered. But there are a lot of people out there that would. There are a lot of people who don't have the value system that most of us have. To get to the point I can't stand theves.

I think we all know the answer to this question but I get your point. I think it is very unfortunate people find a need to steal from fellow sportsman or from anyone at all. I make an effort to not temp what might otherwise a honest person by leaving stuff where it can be stolen. It's tough with game cams or tree stands as these items need to be left in vulnerable places to do their thing. Act from people like this are causeing lands to be posted and permission to hunt very difficult to attain.

I think I speak for all of us when I say this crap needs to stop.(if only the responsible parties would listen)[:'(]

I had my new Mathews LX (loaded) stolen from right out of my garage. Had $1200 into that bow. I HATE thieves.

good thing about thieves is that they are not notoriously smart. also most thieves love to run their mouth. go to any local stores (especially hunting stores) and post reward signs. even if you only offer 50 bucks for info leading to an arrest. chances are, the thief is a scumbag in other areas too. he will have run his mouth to the wrong guy at some point and you'll get him! at least its worth a shot.

I just try my hardest to avoid a chance of something being stolen. For example: I "hide" my treestands pretty good, and I also lock 'em up. So far, nothing has been stolen, maybe lost, but not stolen.
