Mechanical broadheads

I know everyone has their pwn opinoins on the best mechanical broadhead, but what mechanical broadhead do you think is best on the market?

Far too many variables to call out a "best". Things like KE and size of game have to be figured in. For a moderate energy setup 55-60 foot pounds, pick a head that opens fast, penetrates easier and has a moderate cut..1 & 1/8" to 1 & 1/4". For higher horsepower set-ups , pick something in the 1.5 to 1.75" cut range.

IME, you cannot go wrong w/ the better quality heads from NAP (Spitfires, Scorpions, Shockwaves), WASP (Jak-hammers), and Rocket (steelheads/sidewinders). Alot of folks like the Rocky Snipers and Gators, but personally I have an aversion towards two bladed heads..fixed or mechanical.

This is my first year trying mechanicals will be carrying at least one of each of these, (100 grain) NAP Spitfires, Rocket Steelhead, and Mar0Den Mini Max III (im the most excited about this one because of a 2" cut and awesome reviews)

I am going to have to say the Nap Spitfires they just perform very well for me. They come out with some cut-on-contact spitfires this year might try them.

i use to shoot spit fire, but they just jacked up there price this year to almost 40 bucks for 3of them[:@] I am trying to find a new mechanical for a more moderate price, i also use rocky mountain snipers, good but i dont like rubber bands!

I like vortex mini max , or marden heads . You can get them from 1 1/2" to 21/2"s of cut depending on the energy you are putting out . The 1 1/2 " cut 2 blade head they have would be the only mecanical head I would recomend for someone shooting under 55 lbs .The other reason I like them is I and several hunting buddies have had great sucess for years with them , so they have proven themselfs to me .
