Slick Tricks and Quartering shots?
Those of you who have used Slick Trick broadheads have you had any problems or concerns with sharply quartering shots. I am very interested in the heads from what I have been reading, but the design looks prone to skidding to me. Anybody encounter this? 5shot have you done any testing on this head?

RE: Slick Tricks and Quartering shots?
I shot slick Tricks last season with great success. I took 1 whitetail, and a black bear on quartering away shots with no issues. Complete pass throughs, and animals dropped within sight. I took 5 aniamls all together with great results. I know many people that have converted to these heads over the last couple seasons, and all are very happy. I have shot Thunderheads, Muzzy's, Rockets, and Steelforce, and none have performed as good as the Slick Tricks. You wont be disappointed.

RE: Slick Tricks and Quartering shots?
I have done some testing and found that the slick tricks don't deflect as much as most mechanical heads but will slide a bit sooner than conventionaly styled heads. The key is that by the time they start to deflect, the shot has become unethical in my opinion anyway. I would feel 100% confident using these heads.

RE: Slick Tricks and Quartering shots?
Thanks for the input. I am going to stick with my Ti125's again this year, but may experiment with the Slick Tricks during the off season.
