Just got back from the new Cabelas in Wheeling,WV it is very nice inside. They have hundreds of mounts, a huge aquarium. If you live close by you should go. Has anyone else ever been to cabelas. If so how was the expirence.

I was at the one in Hamburg, PA about 2 weeks ago while on my way home from vaction. From the pictures I've seen the WV closely resembles that store. Now that the WV store is open and only 1hr away I'm sure my pockets will be empty until sometime after the season is over. LOL

The Prairie du Chien,WI store is just down the road from me about 40 miles. It is smaller than some but the main warehouse is right out the back door so go to the catalog dept. and get what you want and they'll bring it out to you. Also been to the stores in Owatanna,Mn and Mitchell,SD.

I have not been yet but they are building one about a mile from my house! It's supposed to open next spring! I'm soooooo pumped about that! I will have a Cabella's that I can almost see from my house and Bass Pro is only about 8 miles away!

I have been to the stores in Dundee, MI and Kearney NE.

I wish the one in Wheeling was closer to me...probably a 4 hour plus drive for me and now means I have to pay sales tax when I order from Cabela's!
