;) Me too bowhuntinoh, I'm just a poor mailman also but I'm also tight. I'll buy my license, a 3 pak of new thunderhead blades, spray on my homemade scent block and I'll be ready for about $52 bucks.

Well, if you look at it from that perspective then I guess you better factor in all the dinners I took my wife to in order to "prep" her for my lack of presence around the house during deer season.

On a no new bow year, I probably spend $1500 including licenses. On a new bow year we're looking at $3000. That peanuts for the enjoyment recieved!

Good Luck!

RE: How Much Will You Spend???

I would have loved this thread last year, I went off like rocket on hunting crap. I'm on a 1/4 of the budget I had in 2003; here's what I got so far.

Bowtech Patriot VFT $700.00
Cabelas Climbing Stick $70
Bitzenburger Dial-O-Fletch $65
12 PSE Carbon arrows $80
6 Carbon Express arrows $45
B2 replacement whisker Bisquit $20
Membership to archery club $115
Misc arrow building stuff $30
Future expense: Michigan License / Tag $120
Future expense: 10 days in camp $300
Future expense: A dozen more arrows $100
Future expense: New sight / rest for my backup bow $100

Total: $1745

Just to give you an idea of last year I bought: API bowhunter stand, 4 GMRS radios, Leatherman Wave, Cobra Sidewinder, Whisker Bisquit, Browning Hydro Fleece, Cabelas Range finder, Garmin GPS, Cabelas Super C target, two dozen arrows, Red Wing hunting boots, and about a million other things I can't remember right now.
