arrow hunting tip suggestions needed
 

I was going to go with the Crimson Talon's. But you guys seem to think they suck. So I am back to ground ZERO. I have always been found of the mechanicals. I am also under the understanding that they fly similiar to a target tip. I want a tip that will fly straight, tear up the deer, leave a nice blood trail, and will hold up so I can reuse it.

I am seriously looking at the mechanical Rocky Gator XP.

Anybody have any experience using them??

I picked up some Crimson Talons last season but never hunted with them. They flew great on my setup but I didn't have confidence in the blades.

Gator is a great head. Pretty much any of the mechanical heads on the market fly great. You may also try one of the new low profile, replaceable blade heads on the market, such as the Wasp Boss Bullet, and the like. They also fly great, and just replace the blades.

go with the muzy's. hey, there really isnt a broadhead out there that will not kill a deer. muzzy's have the best design, to me, and they leave slug holes in them...both sides

Most any broadhead out there will do that IF:

you take time to tune the bow and arrow so they are matched to one another.

They will all pretty much leave a nice bloodtrail IF:

You place the arrow where it cut large arteries and vanes, produce a low exit hole so all this blood can drain to the ground.

The reuse part depends on what your arrow runs into, either on its way to the deer or leaveing the deer. If you hit large rocks on a pass through not many broadheads are going to be reuseable.
