Whitetails : 1 - 20 yrd pin

Mulies : 30-50-70 pins

I used to whitetail hunt with a 20 and a 35 yrd pin.......I liked that set up pretty good.......but 95% of my shots ended up being 25 yrds or less....so I took the 35 yrd pin out !!

RE: what do you set your pins at?

One pin set for 25 yards. There just ain't a valid reason to have 5 pins on a hunting bow set at 5 yard increments unless you might be shooting a recurve. Less pins cleans up the picture and one less thing to think about. The difference between 20 and 25 yards is only about 1 1/2" or less with today's bows.

20, 30 and 40. However, I do not hink I will take a shot over 30 yards in the woods where I hunt. The woods are too thick to try a shot over 30 yards.
