Things you have done to your climber?

What kind of things have you done to your climber to make it better for hunting. As for me i just installed a bow holder on the right side of my viper xls so i can just reach over and pick up my bow. instead of behind me on the tree.
What types of things have you done to your climber to make it better to hunt from??

I have don a lot of things to my climbers over the years, but since I switched to Summits, the only thing I do is add a bow holder, and tie on a pull rope.

Agreed, 5 shot. My Summit's darn near about as perfect a climber as I could imagine. In fact, when I'm using the Viper XLS option, I just lay my bow across the bar. (I've got the Cobra XLS top, too.)

I did take a black spray paint can and paint some streaks across various points of the stand to help break up its outline.

I mounted a Quickee quiver bracket on it. I've experimented with 3 or 4 seat changes but none have worked. I wrapped all the rails in pipe insulation.

I added a waist belt. Bought one of the Buddy Loc belts at Walmart on clearance ($4.00) stripped it down and bolted it on.

Put a hook on each side under the arm rests for hanging things.($.75)

Added pieces of pipe to the front on each corner to put branches in to add cover. ($.50)

Replaced the strap for my toes with a rubber bungie cord. Holds my feet better no matter what boots I have on. ($1.50)

Added quick release buckles to the seat the match the ones on my hot seat. I can clip it on for more comfort. ($2.50)

Bow rest of course, and padded straps.

I can spend the whole day in it without any trouble.

Put a Quickee quiver bracket on my Bushmaster and also the add on Summit foot rest (it's a must) and a saddle bag that hangs from my seat.

Just a Qwikee bracket on my Summit. I'm sick of holding on to that bow all day though....bowholder will find its way on there this year.

Padded back straps, and a few blotches of paint. I may add a quiver bracket this year.

I removed the rubber grips on my api bowhunter and added a seat to make it a sit down stand up climber..

The only thing I have added to my climber is the bowholder on the left side of the stand. Other than that, I can not figure out too much moer to put on it.

Although, I am thinking of adding an attachment for a video camera, and getting the Realtree EZ hanger for the binocs, backpack, etc.

To my summit cobra, I added a bow holder and a kitchen sink - the only things it came without.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

My Ol'Man original had a permanent strap connecting the top piece to the bottom. I removed that and now use a removable one. I can now use the top piece for a seat in other situations.

Also, I added a bow holder.

Honestly, the biggest mod was just leaving the darn thing home! I find climbers to be a bit too cumbersome. I like my ladder stands better.
