laser sights
 
has anyone tried using laser dot sights like they use on pistols? i only shoot 2 pins and could mount and tune 2 of these relatively easily, any coments or suggestions would be helpful thanks

They seem to be pretty accurate however the only problem is they cant compensate for the trajecory of the arrow where as a pin sight can. If you are shooting longer distances you will have to compensate arrow drop by holding higher which could mean above the target. In this case you may not see where the laser is if its beyon the target. Also if ur using them for hunting you should check your local regualations.

Wouldn't it just jump around too much. If you could hold it in the center ring from 20 yds then it would be cool, used like a 1 pin setup. I don't know if I could hold steady enough to like it though.
Laser sites are legal to hunt with in IN if I'm not mistaken.

You could probably use it to compensate for distance if you put it on a trophy master sight or one of the other sights that you adjust for distance. One thing is for sure, that sight won't be P&Y compliant.
