Best Vanes for the Biscuit

I need to know what vanes hold up best. I am shooting duravanes and they are way too soft. Whats everyone suggest? Thanks Sharkey

I use feathers without any problems at all. I don't know about vains but any feathers work great.

I'm shooting AAE Plastifletch vanes through a new B2 and they're holding up very well. My hunting partner is shooting Duravanes through an original bisquit and those are holding up fairly well also. What sort of problems are you having with your duravanes? Rippling or tearing?

They are rippling big time. They are 4 inch with 6 degree helical. Shooting a Partiot Dually at 70 lbs with a 30 inch draw. I put it through the crono at the shop and it is doing between 305 to 307 fps with a 398 grain arrow. Does the speed have something to do with it.

Wow, mine have a slight amount of ripple to them, but it's almost unnoticable. Are you shooting a new B2 bisquit that is black and brown, or an old bisquit that is solid black? Also, are all of your vanes ripping like that or only one per arrow?

Im shooting the new B2 biscuit. It is tuned perfect its shooting bullet holes in the paper. The yellow vanes ripple a little bit more than the orange but not much. The guy at my pro shop recommended Bohning vanes.

Well, beats me. I guess it can't hurt to try the Bohnings. I've used them in the past and had good luck with them.

Bohoning vanes are excellent and inexspensive. AAE speedflyte vanes are great as well but cost more.
