fertilizing wild percimon trees
 
I found an small area that has a large concentration of percimon trees that have fruit coming on. What is the best fertilizer mix to use and when is the best time to apply it?

They make a fruit tree fertilizer stake. I guess that would do the job. Persimmons are a deers favorite and rippen before acorns drop. Racoons like them too so there is competition to get them as they fall. I think it would be a great hunying place if your season starts early enough.

You are a deer hunter and don't know what a persimmon tree is?????? Wow. Deer probably love persimmon more than any other thing they eat. If you find one or more that are dropping fruit, you've got a honey hole more times than not. Here's what they look like:
