Help Spend My Money (New Setup)

Well the time has finally come for me to purchase a new bow with all new accessories. If you could purchase a bow and all accessories what would you buy? Remember you are spending my money so have fun. I will report back on what I end up purchasing. If I were to buy today this is my list.

Bow-Mathews Outback
Rest-Trophy Ridge Drop Zone
Sight-Trophy Ridge Matrix V Drive
Release-Tru Fire Stealth or the Scott Mongoose

I could always open up another can of worms and choose a Bowtech Patriot with the same accessories as above.

Anything else that I am missing?

I don't know if I should put a quiver on a bow or not?

I'd choose a Bowtech Patriot Dually 60# limbs, Spot Hogg Right On Sight, Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter rest, Stealth 6 inch Stabilzer, Sims limbsavers, cable dampener, string leeches, string loop, and Scott Lil Goose release and Easton ACC arrows. Since it's your money, when can expect this package to be delivered? :D

It sounds as though you've already made up your mind.
I like the trophy ridge line of products. you can't go wrong there. I personally like truball releases but that is more personal preference. The Matthews is a good bow. Have you shot one yet? They're a bit pricey but hey, It's your money we're spending he so spend away.

Now you just need to think about a stabilizer. I like the sims modular. I'd also recommend string leaches. Aside from that you're good to go.

Welcome aboard and good luck this season.

Just a beginner myself, but was wondering what bows are better..Bowtech, Hoyt, or Mathews? Those are probably the top three right?

I have not made up my mind yet but getting close. I searched a few bulletin boards and this seemed like the best one to ask my questions. I have been shooting a Golden Eagle for the past 11 years and it is way way outdated.

What are String Leaches?

I do know I will probably wind up with a Bowtech or Mathews. I will probably make the bow decesion on which local shop will give the best support and help. I have walked into shops before and could not even get someone to acknowledge me. It was there loss as I took my cash elsewhere.

I think setup is a very important part of bows these days. You could have the best bow, but if it's setup wrong it will shoot like crap.

I know some folks swear by them, but if it was my money, I'd look into some other options besides Trophy Ridge.

I see more returns/problems with their products than any other manufacturer at the shop. A large number (I'd wager 2/3) of them come back for noise/things coming loose all the time/pieces breaking, etc.

If I had the money, this is what I would go out and buy right now;

Martin Cougar III SE (55 - 70lb Limbs, Dyna-Cams)
Trophy Ridge Drop Zone Rest
Copper John Dead Nuts Hunter 3 Pin (I'd add an extra pin to make it 4)
Stealth 6" Stabalizer
Sims Limb Savers
String Leaches
String Loop
T.R.U Ball's Cyclone Release
One Dozen Carbon Express CXL Hunters
One Half Dozen 100grn Muzzy 3 Blade.
