Good place to find aerial photos?

Does anybody here know of a good place to get decent aerial photos? I obviously would prefer a free site or something, but I pretty much expect to have to pay for them.

I know terraserver has decent ones. But I think now you need to subscribe to there site to get one.

Does anybody have any good suggestions. I might end up just going to the courthouse for one.

Thanks!

i went to this site http://www.mapcard.com/index.asp?mode=timeout
they have a payment for a years worth of use and you can do topo maps and arial photos and print 8 1/2" x 11"s
you might be best to go toyour local clerks office and ask them. if there is only one plot you want. i needed a FEW so it was worth the 14.95 to get as many sites as i needed! otherwise you pay 99.99 for a one state arial maps program or a topo map program. let us know what you do!

I bought some maps a few years ago on realtrees website. Thye were only like $12-15 each. It was worth it b.c I reference them often during hunting season. Here's the website: Its under maps about half way down on the left hand side.

Got some very good, high quality aerial photos from mytopo.com. You can customize your photos and topo maps from several individual maps and photos so that they are actually a composite of up to four separate maps or photos. They run about $15.00 each, but well worth it. You can also preview your map or photo and save it to your computer to review and purchase later if you want.

I used Terraserver this spring when looking over some gobbler hunting ground and didn't have to pay / register then.

There is one catch with TerraServer ,
if you want a map/photo with resolution under 8 meters you have to subscribe to their service .

Try mapcard. It cost something like $15 a year, but it is very nice.

I use terrasever and you don't have to pay, but some of the arials are a little old, but you still get the idea of what you are looking for.
