RE: 21 point
Sorry pictures are not to good on there now. I have a overhead shot of it were you can see the drop tines on the back of it I will try to get that picture on here. Deer gross scored 175 1/2 it has 17 points of a inch or more or 21 points you can hang a ring on depending on the scoring system used.
STORY: I was sitting on a old fence line were a tree had fallen over the fence and the deer were using it to cross from a big thicket into a persimmon orchard. I could not see behind the fence into the thicket because of the thick cover. A doe stepped out from the thicket into the little clearing between the thicket and the orchard. She kept looking back at were she came from and it was evident something was behind her. I then stould up and waited. About a minute after she came out the buck stepped over the down fence into my view. So after I soiled my boxers I drew on it and made a perfect double lung shot at about 15 yards. The deer did not travel 30 yards. People have asked me all the time how I made a perfect shot on a deer that big with no time to calm down. The truth is I just happend to squeeze the release at the right time of shaking I could of just as easily shot 2 feet over his back. A lot of practice and a little luck never hurt anyone. |
RE: 21 point

RE: 21 point
Mathews boy I added another picture that gives you a better idea of the mass. That and all the points help give it that score. The left side were everything comes together is over 6 inches in circumference.

BEAUTY.. Did you shoot him In MICHIGAN? jw, cause I'm from the U.P. |
RE: 21 point
No shot him about a mile behind my house in Texarkana Tx. I grew up in Houghton in the U.P. and the biggest one I ever shot there with a bow was 132 inch 10pt
