RE: Stealth Cam 1st Pics
Got this pic last week.
I posted it in the altermate list (deer hunting contest) because I was having trouble finding this thread untill now. Well here it is a little enlarged. The buck on the right is a new one to the area. I have never seen him before. The one on the left is the same one i have been seeing on film since I got tis camera. ![]() |

RE: Stealth Cam 1st Pics
Actually the yellow is not corn. I was having trouble with turkey eating the corn and I switched back to horse feed. It has a molasses smell to it and the deer really gobble it up. That was the last feed deposit I will make since PA law states all bait must be removed 1 month before archery opens.
I would be happy with either one presenting a shot during bow season. By the way the stick you see in the ground in front of the buck on the left was set there by me, bare handed and NOT scent free. It seems that the deer here have associated my scent with food since I was feeding the past 2 months. |
RE: Stealth Cam 1st Pics

RE: Stealth Cam 1st Pics
I just bought one of the cheapie stealths. I am a bit skeptical, as Im used to a trail tmer photo hunter, which I still use. I wanted to get another camera out there to scout out another travel route I found.
I understand you are using dollar store film, but try a roll of 400 or 800 speed. It should eliminate the blurred picture area of a moving deer. Good Luck! |
