molasses for feed?
 
does any one use molasses for deer feed? My dad bought some for the cows but it turned hard and i was thinking of puitting it out in chunks for deer. WIll this improve nutrition? Thanks

not really ; they do like it,but it really doesn't do anything except make them eat the hay and roughtfage better.

they will come to it just like the cows do , it is the sweetness and the salt content.

ill agree with ya if you wanna use molasses for food get the molasses for deer & that stuff wont get hard on ya & plus it will keep them coming back for more & more....... or try some deer cane that works will cuz i put some out & they already made a 4 ft hole in the ground & that was last year so ill give deer cane a try or deer molasses a try.
