Holy sow this is a BIG pig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not so sure that that pig is as big as they say it is. Not only is the guy standing an arms length away, he's calf deep in a hole! I'd like to see a picture of him standing right next to the pig on level ground. Granted, the pig is big, but I'm not sure sure it's that big.

They had it in our local paper this morning.

i dont think that the pig weighs half a ton. think about it. they wouldnt have burried the pig if it was that big unless they had showed someone. that makes me believe the thing is fake.

Normally I will defend a fellow GA boy, but I think this time its all "hawg wash". I have seen some big ones down here but 1000 lbs? There isn't a single self respecting hunter out there that wouldn't have gotten some back up proof on that!!

I did the exact same thing a couple years ago!

I shot a buck(not in illinois) that scored around 300 net typical. His horns were to big for my trailor so I just buried him out back. I didn't want all the free money and fame either.

I don;t know but that hog looks like an old farm boar to me. not a wild one.
