Logging a days hunt. What do you include?

I have in the past kept some small logs of each days hunts. Then for a long time I didn't keep anything. The last 2 years we have only recorded kills. Seeing some of the posts on here I am very interested in keeping more information. I would like to make up some sort of sheet to just fill out. Some of you seem to record lots of different information. If you have a sample sheet you could post or email that would be great.

I am just thinking it would add to the whole hunting experience and be very interesting after several years. Besides that, it gives me something to do while waiting for the season to get here. And I really don't feel like working lately.[:'(] Still got those 4 bucks on my mind.:D

Thanks.

I just use a pen and paper, weather, stand site, wind, temp, time of day, time of year, time of month, which direction i came in and stuff like that. I also like to write things that reflect on life, and things i like when i am in the woods like the smell of sweet honeysuckle on a warm day turkey hunting after a gentle shower, boy that stuff smells great to me.

How about,

-Moon phase, the more moon the less game you may see during day light.
-Wind direction and speed
-Any weather fronts comming or going, barametric pressure changes can be sensed by game so they adjust there days accordingly.
-Temp. . too hot like here in Texas. . .things can be real quiet.
-Rain and or amount of cloud cover
-What did you see? and from where did they arrive.
-What mood were the animals in, calm, skittish, etc.
-Day of the week. . .many times if you hunt a place where the most preasure is on the week ends things may be best come mid week after things calm down a bit.

Also you may add in things about yourself, scent control, shower status, did you get winded by them, spook anyone, get seen etc. did you see or hear anything on the way to the blind or hunting area? What time do you arrive? How fast do you move around?
Any other hunters around, this is a biggy.

Do this for a season or 2 and you will learns lots.:D

Thanks guys. I will be putting something together before the season (Sept. 18). That sure does seem like a long ways away yet.
