Pine thickets?

i was curious as to how everyone hunts pine thickets. The property that I hunt is the side of a mountain with pretty flat corn and soy bean fields at the bottom, thick pine thickets in the middle and hardwoods on the top. Its easy to see that the deer come off the side of the mountain and down to the fields in the evening to feed. i have found some beds in the winter but the deer trails seem so random that it is extremely hard to hunt there. The first real rub line i found was all the way at the top of the mountain and i hunted it as soon as i found in early november and shot a nice 9 point there a few days later. my question is if any has any tips or advice to hunting these thick pine thickets? thanks

RE: Pine thickets?

Hunt the edge near the pine thicket/hardwoods and the edge of the pines and the field. An aerial pic may help with more suggestions.
