I have a friend that just got into bowhunting. He needs some hunting arrows. He shoots a Black Hawk bow at 85 lbs. He likes the Gold Tip XT arrows but doesn't know which broadhead to get. Which ones would you recommend for deer?

I just tested 6 different broadheads, yesterday on a 1 inch piece of treated plywood, all shots were at ten yards except for one. My setup 70lbs 28 in draw and 400gr arrow all broadheads were 100gr. I like steelforces but they tested poorly only the tip came thru. The rocky mountian assassins blew apart after hitting, tri-locks faired good they penetrated thru to the tip but broke 1 blade. Rocky mountian titianiums faired well with the head and some of the blades came thru. Spit fires held up very well for a mech. not much penetration but no damage to the head. Finally I shot muzzy 3 blade that was used by my buddy's last year, but at thirty yards , I've never seen anything like this , it not only penetrated, but went through halfway down the arrow shaft. That's penetration! go MUZZY they cannot be beat.
