Whisker Bisquit

I hope whoever invented this rest is a millionare because I aboslutely love it. I just had the deluxe put on last month and it works great. I hunt mostly from the ground and its going to make moving into position for a shot and drawing so much easier. Hell, I can sit the bow in my lap and not have to worry about it. Fantastic!

Five of us. Its hands down the best hunting rest out there and the advent of the new B2 model with the zone specific fibers has virtually eliminated the problem of vane wear.

I'll join the best rest list also. The best I've used in 23 yrs. bowhunting. I use my drop-away rest as a paperweight on my desk now. Terry

I gotta admit, the responses to this post have shocked me. I did not realize this rest was so well regarded. The only thing i seem to hear about it the drop aways, but this one seems to get remarkable reviews on this thread. Of course, the nay-sayers have not piled on, yet.

I will be outfitting a Q2 in a week or two, and will need to look more closely at this rest.

Add me! Going on 18 years of bowhunting, and I have a drawer full of old rests. The biscuit won't be joining them.;)

I bought the WB drop tine for about 50 some bucks i think...a deluxe runs 10 or 15 more. i love mine. a little vane wear, nothing to throw off accuracy though with the B2 biscuit. best hunting rest ever made.

I was wondering if other people were having quick vane wear. I look at it this way, if its practice arrows, who cares? And how many times are you gonna shoot an arrow a deer? I read threads where people say they put an arrow though a deer and place it back in the quiver. If it works, fine. But for me, once I shoot an arrow in the field, thats it. I dont get that many shots, so the cost lost isnt worth shooting an arrow thats possibly flawed in some way. So, vane wear on the broadhead arrows isnt an issue as far as i am concerned.

A great rest!

I was wondering if other people were having quick vane wear.
I noticed that it seemed to wreck the leading edge of my vanes, but after switching to the B2 the problem isn't so prevalent and there are no more annoying black streaks on my vanes. When it comes to ruining fletching I think the biggest culprit is my bow. I upgraded to a Bowtech Patriot a couple weeks ago and now I sink arrows fletching deep in my Target Bag and Bales the local club; in three weeks I have effectively stripped two dozen arrows.

Anyhow the pro's outweigh the con's, I wouldn't trade the biscuit for anything. The reason I got it in the first place was for when I've been sitting in the tree for 5 hours and its 10 degrees out; I don't have to worry about shaking the arrow off my rest while drawing.
