NAY here!

I seen a guy bring his arrow's in for refletching after shooting through a whisker /Bisquit shaved all to heck, what a mess . I was going to put one on until then ,I thought it might be great for hunting and maybe it would be but I've changed my opinion on them and have decided against them.

the B2 biscuit elimated almost all vane wear. like i said previously..nubo, have you ever shot the biscuit for a bit? if not, dont weigh in on it from something you saw or heard.

Deerslayer!

Maybe your right about not shooting it enough ,although I have shot one but not a whole lot and that's when I was about to buy one and use it for hunting .When I seen the mess of this guy's arrow's and he stated that he had just installed the WB this spring ,either it wasn't setup right or this rest is hard on vane wear and I then decided against it ,it definetly made a mess of these arrow fletching's . If they all wear on vane's like that then I don't see anything to brag about, but if I'm wrong then I'm wrong .This is just what I've seen and it's my opinion.

I was one of the guys who listened to others negative comments and also feared what those bristles would do to flight paths...........then I tried one.

Great rest...........period. Easy, silent, accurate, holds the arrow. What else is there?

An interesting article in Peterson's last month showed slow motion camera footage of a WB in action. 2 things that were seen in the still photos were that the bristles are actually pushed out of the way (forward) as opposed to being sliced through. Secondly, the arrow vanes are at least half way through the bisquit and the arrow is still on the string!!

That little bit of info could actually be the answer to everybody's questions about why the bristles don't effect flight. By the time the arrow leaves the string the vanes may not be in as much contact with the bristles as some people think.

I couldn't care less either way..............the only proof I need comes from my shooting sessions and it passes with flying colors. It was an interesting read though.

Try one........then you will know for sure. There are plenty of other rests out there if you don't like the WB.

Save yourself some time and money and try the WB first though ;)

nubo~

that guy must not have ben shooting the B2 biscuit then. i have put about 150 arrows through mine. fletching looks like new and i am not having any problems with fletching getting torn off from the bristles.

Nubo, I have seen the same thing as you ! I have seen it from a guy with the same bow and same rest as me [:o] !!

Only difference is when we left the pro-shop.......I paper tuned mine and had a bad tear......fixed it.......group tuned.........and have no fletching wear ! His on the other hand look like a chainsaw wacked them..........but he is one of those guys that you can't tell them that they need to re-tune........he knows what's going on ya'know !! ;)

After one year of using it...LOVE IT!!!! I know hardcore competition guys wouldn't use it, but it is the ultimate rest for hunting.
