Call me an old timer but I started using these heads a good while back and probably won't ever switch.

The only time I switched broadheads is when I went from the THunderhead 125s to the 100s after I started shooting carbons.

If it ain't broke why fix it?

I used them when I shot aluminum. Super sharp and very strong, highly recommended. They flew the same as my field tips too! I used the 125gr.

I have but will be switching to the crossfire this year. Only problem I have had with the thunderhead is a blade falling off on stand. It was my fault because I must not have had the tip caught right. Looked pretty funny with only 2 blades. Never did find it.

I have shot several diffrent broadheads over the years but nothing compares to the thunderheads that i have tried. I have taken several deer with them, including 3 deer with the same one without sharping in between and had complete passthroughs each time. I use the 85 grain thunderheads with goldtip arrows and they fly great. I was always told that you had thunderheads and muzzys and everything else wasnt worth bothering with, from what i have seen that is about all anyone else even uses.

I used thunderheads and they are very good but i think i like the muzzy head a little better due to durability and better blade retention. The thunders are sharper out of the box tho.

Yup..... I shoot 125gr Thunderheads. They are really great and wickedly sharp. I don't see a need to switch.

I don't like them. They're what I started with, then I got rid of them after two major mishaps. First, a broadhead blew up in my block target, left all three blades somewhere inside. Then, during an elk hunt, I pulled out my "number one for takeoff" arrow to inspect it, and discovered that a sliver of foam from the quiver had worked its way in between one blade and the ferrule. What would have happened if I had launched that arrow into the side of an elk? I might as well have had a field point.

I'm sure 9,000 of you will want to make counterpoints about this, but I want a broadhead that I don't have to micromanage every 5 minutes to make sure it's not going to come apart on me. Thunderheads fail this test.
Just my opinion.
