Removing old fletchings

I had to remove some old fletching and have some glue that I cannot get off the shaft. Is there a technique or product that will take the glue off?

Scrape it of with a dull knife or get a knife with a thin blde and use the back side of the blade.

Zip Strip by Duravanes is awsome. Bass Pro & Keustone sell them.

I have a razor with a slot in it made for stripping fletchings. I was wondering if I could take all of it off with that or would it damage it?

The next time I strip some arrows I want to try GOO-Gone to see if it will dissolve the glue? That stuff seems to break down about anything.
