Plans for home made hang on stands?

Hey guys, I remember a site that had plans for building your own hang on stands. I looked and can't find it. I didn't think anything of it when I saw it because I didn't know any welders but now I do. Be nice to get 3 or 4 of these made for real cheap.

Anyone know where to look? Thanks.

i have a couple that i just put up in the gallery. it may take a while for the mods to approve. they are really nice stands and are VERY strong. they are held up by 4, 8-inch nails. they dont make any noise at all. the solid platform is 30 inches wide and 41 inches long and the other is 30 inches wide and 35 inches long. they are really easy to make also.

i put them up under the "other" gallery

I have only one gallery link and there are just 4 or 5 pictures but it says there are some 300 photos but no way to navigate to other pages . . . am I missing something?

I tried making homeade lock ons once...... I'll never do it again. It was heavier and way more uncomfortable than any stand I have ever bought. The way I see it, the treestand manufacturers make stands for a living so I'll let them do it. They carry a warranty and the liability as well. Besides, I bought 3 stands for about $30 each this season on clearance and I don't think you can build one any cheaper.

I found this but you have to pay for the plans. Hope this helps.
