I heard this weekend that the Drury Bros. put up some stands (about 40, 20 sposts with 2 stands in each tree) In an area about 3 miles from where I hunt. I hope they check in at the local bow shop. It would be pretty neat to meet these guys. The place they are hunting is known to have some monsters running around. I hope they can get a big one.

I'm just a nice guy I guess. I hope evey good hunter gets a big one. Plus it would be neat to watch it on video and say that I hunt around there.

River, one of my friends at school works at the place your talking about. He told me this spring that they were going to be hunting there this fall trying to get some footage and some kills to put on video. He also hunt the place and killed a 150 class 8 pt last year. He said you can't believe the size of the deer that are on this farm.

Hey I wonder what the Drury Bros pay for their leases and how long they lease farms for? I bet more than I could afford!

There was a rumor floating around this area a while back that Dale Earnhardt Jr and a couple other Nascar boys were going to buy the farm next to ours in Iowa. turned out to be gossip. cool on the drury brothers coming down there. it'd be cool sometime to have one of those hunting on one of our farms. hmm...a thought maybe?

Hey titleist,

I've seen some of the deer on video from last year, and I got to see one of the big ones killed from there last year. There are some monsters runnin' around there. It's perfect habitat to grow bigguns, plus it hasn't been bowhunted very hard in the last 10 years.

Ya my buddy said there hasn't been much hunting going on around there. He says they see P&Y deer all the time. I might have to try to talk him into taking me down there for a day or two. I'd be happy just seeing those deer let alone hunting them.
