If you are not very familiar with topo maps, you may want to check out "Mapping Trophy Bucks". You should be able to find it at any online bookstore. That book was a real eye opener for me. I had hunted flat land all my life and just recently started hunting more hilly terrain, that book gave me some great tips on how to hunt hill deer and how to recognize certain terrain features by studying topo maps.

topozone.com has free printable maps too.

I'm sure it would. It's a fun and easy read. It really teaches you about the different terrain features and how to identify them using a topo.
