he's back!!!
tonight i was driving down a road that goes past the corn field near my stand and something happend to catch my eye. i looked up and standing right in the middle was the giant buck i have been hunting for 3 years now. last year he was a 12 pointer and about 170 lbs. from what i saw he had about a 21 inch spread and it is very possible he is at least a 12 maybe even a 14 this year. i moved my stand down to a hot trail this year and am looking forward to having him in my sights.

RE: he's back!!!
Hope you get him. Sounds like a good one. When you say 14, do you mean 7x7, or non-typical? There has only been a handful of typical 7x7's evr shot or captured on video. If this is the case then you have a real trophy on your hands!!

Arrow the brute. I love to see a pic of you and that beast on the ground this fall.
Have you done any scouting to find his core areas? |
RE: he's back!!!
i saw him several times last year where my stand is now. i know he doesnt bed in there but its an in-between area, there is corn/beans to the outside and there is a small pond in the woods, and the across the road is his bedding, so he has to come through me before he goes anywhere. i do have a camera out there right now but i dont have a picture of him yet, hopefully my next role will have some pics, if it does i'll try to post them.

Make sure you get us some pics of that bad boy!!!! Sounds like a dandy. Preferably with you and your bow sitting on top of him with rack(
) in hand. The deer's rack. |
