RE: what does everybody think of the crimson talon broadheads?
They probably could get the job done but they are over-hyped. I get tight groups with field points AND thunderheads (100) out to 40-45 yards anyway with an ultratec spiral cam 1/2 set at 72#. A bow has to be tuned, proper arrow matching , anfd the guy has to know how to shoot no matter what he's shooting. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!

They fly great but they are a very weak design. The furrel has six cuts in it and the blades are pretty soft. Soft enough that they will bend over with little resistance.
There are far too many better broadheads out on the market today to bother with the tallons. Give slick tricks, Montecs, or stingers a try if you want a top of the line head that is nearly bullet proof and that flys beautifully. |

Looked at them at our local sport shop, just don't like them.
As big bulls said weak design. Would not hunt with them myself. |

Flashy looking trash quality heads designed to catch hunters not kill deer. Flimsy blades that bend too easy. Stick with a well know reputable brand.
