I am hunting Pike Co. this year for $500 (not including license). I am not sure what your definintion of an arm and a leg is so that may meet your criteria but to me that's pretty cheap.

Just don't come down here to south Texas! We don't have any big bucks.LOL I would love to hunt up there someday but for now I will keep hunting texas.

Highrack Ihave a lease outside of Dilly in LaSalle Co. We did good last season and looking forward to Oct.2nd. Took a nice 8 point and a few hogs.

it is all hype we have no big bucks in illinios. only thing left are dinks save your money and go to another state !!!!!!!!!!!
i have heard they glue those racks on out of pike county after the kill just for the photo s .my suggestion go to iowa ,kentucky. wisconson.texas. all the big bucks in illinios are gone

Just a guy that I met over the interent. Just pointing out that people shouldn't make generalizations like "Pike Co. is going to cost a fortune" or "Pike Co. is overrated" blah blah blah. Hunting Pike Co. is just like anything else you can take the expensive or the cheap route. I have an in on a free spot next year and the deer are there. People get the false assumtion that there is a P & Y tied up to every tree asnd all you have to do is knock them in the head It's hunting just like anywhere else. It just happens to be better than most places.
