Chlorophyl gum
I saw in a magazine where it is new on the market now. But I gave the magazine away without thinking of writing down the maker. Does anyone know about this new product and who makes it?
Thanks! |
RE: Chlorophyl gum
What exactly is it for? Is it suppose to help you or somethin?
|
RE: Chlorophyl gum
Its to help your breath not smell. They use to have pills that I believe made your entire body smell more plant like I suppose.
|
RE: Chlorophyl gum
What kind of plant:eek:
Reminds me of the kids at school that smelt like marijuana! |
RE: Chlorophyl gum
Here's their web site http://www.huntingscience.com . Good luck.

RE: Chlorophyl gum
I would rather just keep my mouth shut and breath through my nose. I don't talk that much while I'm by my self hunting, but I don't know about some of the other characters on this board;)

RE: Chlorophyl gum
Chlorophyl gum has been around for many, many years. Ever hear of Chlorettes? There's always a piece in my mouth when I'm bowhunting. It's getting hard as heck to find it in stores anymore, however.

RE: Chlorophyl gum
Probably about 5 or 6 years ago the Sportsmens Guide had some "camo gum" in their catalog for sale. It was basically a chlorophyl gum with a vanilla flavoring. I remember it was affiliated somehow with the American Hunting club and had their symbol on the label. I was ordering some stuff at the time so I ordered 3 of the big packs of it. It was great. It had a really great taste to it and kept my mouth from getting dry out there on stand. I finally used it all up and have never seen it since. I am like Olink, I chew Chlorettes when I hunt also. I will have to check the new stuff out.

RE: Chlorophyl gum
The claim that a person's breath is 80% of what a deer smells, sure seems like a scam to me. Anybody who eats a few cloves of garlic and drinks a couple of bottles of wine is going to have some high octane breath for sure- breath that a deer in the next state can smell. On a normal diet though, I doubt that breath is what a deer picks up when it smells you. They mostly smell your dead skin.

Oh yea, does anybody remember the hunters moutwash put out by Tink Nathan years ago. That lasted for about a year. I also remeber the pills.
|
RE: Chlorophyl gum
I just make sure to brush my teeth with baking soda before I start out in the morning and after lunch as well. Only thing I put in my mouth while on stand in bow season is an apple.

RE: Chlorophyl gum
you can still get the chlorophyll pills at a pharmacy. they are for people with colostomy bags - so they don't smell so bad. the two times i've used the pills - for 3 days before i hunted - i've had deer walk right up to me and i mean 10 feet while i was on the ground.. maybe they would have done it anyway, i don't know. the name of the pills is nullo. they make your poop greenish after a couple days. think i'll use them again this year. green poop's cool.

RE: Chlorophyl gum
There is this stuff called NODOR that is a mix I've been using as a mouthwash. But I'd prefer to chew a piece of gum if I can. Clorets can be bought over the internet. Use your search engine to find a site.
Thanks for all the advice. I might try the gum from that site. It's hard to see how many pieces come in a pack... |
RE: Chlorophyl gum
I always rinse my mouth out with baking soda. I believe that there is a lot of smell that comes from your mouth. I might have to get some of these pills and the gum. Good stuff. I'm usually skeptical of gimics but this is something I believe hinders me.
Ever smell your wifes breath at the end of the day???? |
RE: Chlorophyl gum
What are you doing smelling my wifes breath at the end of the day?;)
|
RE: Chlorophyl gum
This is definitely something I should look into as I know I have dragon breath some mornings....as does one of my hunting partners. Thanks for the link. Maybe I can get the local shop to carry some of it.

RE: Chlorophyl gum

RE: Chlorophyl gum

RE: Chlorophyl gum
Give me your address. I work for the company and we have been field testing the gum for three years. I will mail you a couple packs. I am convinced it increase my odds and significantly lowers my scent. Also give the name and number of your local shop and I will send them a sample as well.
