RE: matthews fx
You will love the FX. It does not get alot of publicity because its a lower cost model but look at the specs. Its light, small and packs a whallop. I am probably the only guy in the world to trade his Q2XL in for the FX 2 years ago but I am glad I did. I have taken several deer with it. Good Luck.

RE: matthews fx
The FX is a great little bow. I had the opportunity to shoot one extensively at the beginning of last season and was pretty pleased with it especially considering the price.

RE: matthews fx
Ive had mine for about a week now and love it. It is very fast and light. I love the way it feels in my hand and on the draw. Glad I made the decision to get this bow. I would do it all over again. Good luck

RE: matthews fx
I have the FX with the 28" minimax. It is a great treestand hunting bow. It is powerful, compact and very forgiving. It is very quiet once you get it in tune, with limbsavers and a good stab and it is an easy bow to work on and keep in tune. I still think that for the price it is the best deal out there.

RE: matthews fx
I tried out an FX on the spur of the moment at an outdoor show 3 years ago and fell in love immediately. Ended up buying it and it has served me very well. I have taken several deer with it, as well as coyotes and grouse. It's also a good 3D rig. For a lower end bow, it's pretty high end.

RE: matthews fx
I've had mine for 3 seasons now and love it still! I've managed to take my first P&Y with that little bow and don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. I agree with all of you that it's a low cost bow with high end performance.:D
