Looking for a LEGACY cam (30" draw)
A buddy of mine just bought a used Mathews Legacy bow. It's a 29" and he needs a 30". He was told that he'd have to change the cam. Besides EBAY and ArcheryTalk, where would a guy look for one. He'd rather not buy a new one. They're kind of pricey.
OR...Is there another option to lengthen his draw an inch? Thanks |
RE: Looking for a LEGACY cam (30" draw)
You could ad a D loop to get a little extra length, and maybe he could try getting a little bit more length out of his release, other than that i dont think theres much to do.

RE: Looking for a LEGACY cam (30" draw)
Just buy new cams. Jerry at the pro shop i go to said when i outgrow my LX's 28.5" draw length, which im 99% sure i will, he said he'll swap the cams for dealer price:$50. Pay the regular $100 and get the new cams. i doubt you'll "find" the cams. d-loops wont add draw length. maybe an adjustable release.

yea when i got my legacy, i gave my dad my z-max and he had to go down from 30" draw to 29". it didn't cost that much and he had a new bow!

Thanks guys. It turns out that the fellow we bought the bow from had the 30" cam and sent it to us. Now it's my turn. I'm in the market for a used Legacy.
