Too much pressure??????

I have my stealth cam out in my hunting grounds, and I go out every weekend and check them. For the first month that they were out, I would get 24+ pictures a week. Tha last 2 weeks, I have been getting fewer and fewer. Last weekend one of my cameras was full but the other one only had 12 pictures on it (it was a 24 exposure roll). Now today I went and checked them and had 10 on one, and only 8 on the other. Do you think I am scaring them away? Should I take my cameras out and stay away for a while?

You should keep moving your camera every couple of days. Also I dont use the camera at stand locations eather.

I think that either the cam or your presence when checking the cam is spooking the deer in that particular area. I agree with SCHL44. You should move the cams to different locations every week. That way the deer do not become accustomed to associating the cam with you and vice versa.

Certain food sources that develop throughout the year will change their patterns also.

I would say that if you are only checking then once a week it is just normal changes in their movement patterns.
