Ultra Rest, anyone familar with this rest?

local pro shop is a big fan of this rest. Said it is a drop away but also holds the arrow in place. He said it was somewhat new, so I don't know how proven it is. Apparently, he has sold a lot and no problems. Seems to be putting them on a lot of Outback's.

RE: Ultra Rest, anyone familar with this rest?

I have been shooting with the ultra rest for about 2 months. Had read quite a bit about it and found one on EBay for 1/2 price and got it to try. My opinion is it is a solid rest. I like the feature about the let down and rest stays in ready position. When I nock my arrow I just take my thumb and put rest in up position. I didn't use the clamp to clamp to cable, I served my cord in. Also I didn't use the slotted piece of moleskin on launcher but completely covered launcher with a solid piece of moleskin. The rest is quiet and I have not had any clearance problems. Time will tell how durable the rest is but now I see no problems.

Is this rest really that unfamilar to this board? I have seen two good pro shops represent this as the best rest they have seen so i figured you guys were all over it.
