For my $0.02 it's Gold Tip all the way - strong, straight, & decent weight....

And adding $0.05 in the pot
Why not GameTracker Cx hunters....good hunting weight straight as any in that class and are tough as nails

I have been shooting the Bemans for a few years now,,seem to be a very good carbon arrow.
Hey Mitchdaully,,Do you shoot a Black Max 2 ??.

RE: Easton vs Gold Tip or Beman

I shot bemans arrow a few years ago and had good luck with them. A good solid arrow. The ones I had had outserts and that is ulitmately why I got rid of them. I haven't shot any of their new arrows so for that I can't speak.
I have only shot easton in aluninum so I'm no help there.

Currently I'm shooting Goldtip advantage pro hunters. These arrows I love! They were a bit pricey but I have a few good reasons not to skimp.
1) The arrow is the delivery system for your broadheads. I have better that 1000$ into bow hunting gear so why skimp on what is arguably the most important part of your set up.
2) They are the toughest arrow I have ever shot. Good solid arrows with virtually no flex memory.
3) They are made in Utah U.S.A. (this has become very important to me in recent years.)

Hope this helps some:)

I'm using the CX 3d but just picked up a dozen of the gold tip pro hunters. I can't wait to give them a try. I have heard nothing but good about them.

All the new Beman's and Easton's are the same. I shot Easton Carbon Evolutions last year, they were good for the first 4 months, then my groups got bigger and bigger with my practice arrows, but yet with hunting arrows, they were fine. I switched to Gold Tip's, needless to say no problems yet, and by thier quality I doubt to see any soon!

Is there a fourth choice? ;)

If I had to choose between the Beman/Easton all carbons (which are pretty much identical, construction and tolerance-wise) and the GoldTips, I'd go with the GoldTips, but ONLY if it was the Pro series arrows. The XT's are still a crapshoot for straightness run-out.

Now if we are including anything from Beman or Easton, I would go for either the Beman Matrix or (surprise, surprise:D) Easton A/C/C

From the testing I've been doing lately, Carbon Express has the most consistent spine out of "The Big Three" when it comes to all carbon shafting. In fact the 3D Selects in particular are pretty much the best all-carbon shaft I've tested in the overall sense (spine, straightness, and weight)...they have improved greatly.

But I'm still shooting A/C/Cs
