Need Opinions on Snyper Broadheads

I was thinking of using the Rocky MOuntain Snyper broadheads this year. I was wondering if anyone has tried them out and what you think of them? I like the idea of the cut on contact tip but was wondering if this tip is a little weak on bones(ribs, shoulder)? I previously used NAP Shockwaves and got a complete pass through on a black bear. Up till them I always used Muzzy's but wanted to try the expandables out. Thanks for your input.

i shot a deer at 18 yrds and had a complete pass thru. the entrance wound was as large as the fully opened head and was a very clean cut. 40 yrds later...venison city:D. good blood trail too.

I don't use mechanicals much anymore, but the snyper did get my attention. If I were to go with mechanicals, I would definetely consider this one.

I used them and i know Michael Waddell from team realtree uses them religously, however i use the spitfire 100gr, i dont use any mechanical broadhead that requires a rubber band i dont mess with it.

Gator & Snyper: What are the differences. Gater is 2" wide, Snyper 1 3/8", What else??

Huntsalotey, I have killed 2 bucks and a doe with the snypers since I started using them 2 seasons ago and they have worked flawlessly. As a matter of fact this past years season really made a believer out of me. I shot this buck with a 29" Gold tip 5575 XT with a 100 gr. Snyper at 28 yards broadside. I hit the buck a little forward. The Snyper blew through the top of both shoulders and looked fine when it was done. Every one has had a 5 star bloodtrail and devastating entrance and exit wounds. I am definitely sold on them. They will tip my arrows for a long time to come if they keep performing like they have been for me. Good luck!

I've shot two bucks in two years with them. Both resulted in dead deer within 50 yds.

One had a decent blood trail the other was very poor - the shot was from high up and embedded in the brisket. The deer died quickly but there was no blood trail. I doubt any broadhead would have left one.

I love the accuracy, and simple action of the head. On both my shots the heads were undamaged, only dulled.

I think its a good head.
