Thanks to all.....

To everyone who "believed" my pic was legit and not altered....thank you. I take great pride in being an honest individual. I harvest my animals ethically and legally. Thanks again.

Well the "Bill Dance" arm stretch sure didn't help your cause.;):D

The relationship of the hunter to the animal being posed can make things look really distorted sometimes......A prime example is when hunters will get their pics taken head on to a Bear or Elk while kneeling behind the rear end. My favorite pictures are the ones where the hunter is even with the animal(or at least tight against), or holding a rack on an even plane from the side. The true image is always going to look better VS the "Back'd off" look.

It really doesn't take much separation between the hunter/animal to exaggerate the true image.

All that aside,......that still IS a nice sized doe in the picture.Congrats.:)

cfdjay,

No matter what it was a heck of a doe. You could see it not only by the size, but the structure of the deer. If people needed visual clue, that is what they could have looked for instead of just size relationships of other objects in the picture. I could have just seen the doe with nothing else in the picture to know it was big. Congrats.

PS, Don't get too discouraged here on the boards.

Hey CFD! it's definetly a big doe , don't worry what other's might think .You know yourself what the deer actually was like and that's all that matter's . who care's what other's think it's thier perogative what they want to believe and if they don't SO WHAT there's one guy like that in every crowd that can't be helped ,but there are many more that do believe it . Don't take them so serious, and keep posting ,don't let them get to you, he's probably a coon hunter anyway's.Good Luck to you in the future and happy hunting.

And now two posts about it
More like three and one of them is in two forums which is a violation of Rule 11.
