Someone on another forum suggested that maybe a cougar killed it, and dragged the deer there for later.

What a beautiful sun-bleached rack. That is some fine looking headgear. I do believe that deer had been dragged there for snacking at a later date.

That picture has been around for a long time.

It came from some site on the net .

I forget but I think it was a site that has many pictures of weird stuff with deer. I think it is a canada site.
