Will this work; Arrows
In the Cabela's Archery catalog, I found some shafts. They are on page 33. I want the Beman ICS Trebark shafts. The chart for the arrow size is on page 31. The chart only goes down to 27" arrow. I shoot a 26 inch arrow with a 26.5 draw. I will move my draw length up 1/2 inch and move the weight up to 60. My arrow will then need to be 26.5 inches long. What size shafts should I get? Would it be alright to get a 27" shaft and cut it to 26.5"? Do they come full length? Is it ok to have 1 1/2 inches of arrow hanging over the rest? That will make 27.5". Thanks

I tried to check the cabelas website as I don't have the catalog with me. Cabelas website indicate Item sold out. Cannot back ordered.
I found the link ot Beman USA. The sizing chart ask specific questions about your bow. If you plot in the info that they will give you shaft recomendations.

It looks like a 400 shaft may be in order.

As far as I know, Cabelas still sells their shafts full length. You will have to go to a shop to get them cut the length you want. If you are border on the spine, I would go with the stiffer. I have 6 ICS 500's from last year that I could not get to try right until i backed my draw down low and added 3 sets of leeches. And they were right on the spine line.

I should get the 60/70 10.7's?

First of all,DON'T change your poundage or draw if it isn't right or in your comfortable range. This will always hurt you and not help.It is always better to shoot the right draw and poundage and be comfortable than having a little bit more energy.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing is hitting what you are aiming at.
It is OK to have an 1 1/2" hanging over the rest but that probably isn't necessary.Just go down 1 size on the spine chart and shoot the correct length.

Just get your arrows from your local pro shop.. price should be comparable w/ Cabelas. And you'll get alot better service/fit. IF you must order on line.. go to Lancaster or one of the other websites.

I agree with Bacon. Cabela's ain't cheap. They are retail prices. And for your weight and length you need to use the .500 And I wouldn't choose camo carbon arrows either. They might look neat, but they cost more, are heavier, slwoing the bow down. Harder to find if you miss.. And they pull harder than black ones from 3D targets. Just not worth the extra money.
