Nock for 2003 Patriot string
 

My brother is having trouble finding nocks that fit properly on his single cam patriot string. The nocks he has tried are too tight and give a string twang on each shot. Does anyone have any suggestion on a nock that has a wide opening? He is shooting carbon express cx300 arrows.

I'D SAY GET SOME TUNE A NOCKS THEY WORK PRETTY GOOD SO I HAVE HEARD.:D

I had this problem, but I just dipped the nocks in boiling water not the shafts, but just the nock and then when it was good and warn pressed it on my string seemed to open them up well and I never had the pinch problem again.

Get the center serving redone with smaller material , easy to do and then stock nocks will work corectly , The boiling water thing scares me , nocks are one of the most overlooked things that effect how our equipment tunes , tight nocks are hell on accuracy , especialy with broadheads , besides that , or if you dont want to reserve , the magnock idea is probably good , if you shoot a loop , go for it .
