Gold Tip Arrow?
Anyone use the Gold Tip Pro Hunter Advantage Timber? It says it's .001 straight. WOW, thats straight for a carbon. Kind of pricey, like the Easton A/C/C. Just want someone's opinion that has or shot these arrows. Thanks.

RE: Gold Tip Arrow?
I shoot 75/95 advantage pro hunters with a 4 degree right off set. I really like the arrows and have had no problems to date. I've only been shooting them for about a month and a half though.
My overall opinion of them is they are a good sturdy durable arrow. I can't wait to put them to the test this fall. |
RE: Gold Tip Arrow?
I'm going to the proshop this coming weekend, I'm going to check them out.

RE: Gold Tip Arrow?
i shoot the 75/95, .003's and am very happy with them. 2 thousandths of an inch isn't worth the extra money in my opinion - but i'm not a tourney shooter.

RE: Gold Tip Arrow?
I have shot the xt 5575 for the past 3 years and have no thought of changing to another arrow. Tough durable and fly nice.

RE: Gold Tip Arrow?
I have shot the Hunter XT 5575 for about 8 years now and I am very happy with them they are very tough and I took one into the lab at Ferris and did a reinforcement percentage test on them and they are 97% reinforcement which is very high. Gold Tips are very good arrows.

RE: Gold Tip Arrow?
I personally would not reccommend the XT hunters, but the Pro Hunters are a great arrow. One of the best all-carbons out there.
The spine consistency isn't as good as some, but I have to admit they shoot extremely well, are generally very straight (you'll get one or two in a dozen that have a slight wobble) and weight tolerances are very good. Plus they are super tough. I have a dozen I'm fletching up now as backup if I run out of A/C/Cs before the season. |
RE: Gold Tip Arrow?
I gonna buy. Almost looks to good to be true.
