Which Rest and Sight for Outback?

Need to pick a rest. Local folks are big fans of Shaky Hunter for $69. Is this rest a good fit w/ the outback? What else should i consider?

REgarding sights, I don't have a preferred one. I have been told a simple $35 sight is all I need but would apprec your opinions.

For starters. I don't think you could go wrong with a Copper John Dead Nuts hunter sight. Most places have them for around $60. Built very solid and from what I hear, their customer service is second to none. (Luckily, I have never needed it.)

As far as rests go, I am a big fan of the trophy ridge drop zone. I don't shoot a Matthews, but don't see any reason why it would not work. I shot an Outback a few weeks ago and it had a NAP quicktune 4000 on it. I liked it as well. Let us know what you go with.

I'm shooting mine with a B2 Quick Shot deluxe WB and an Impact Archery Cosmic 1 pin adjustable sight !! I love it !! Extremely quiet and simple set up.......with a lot of versatility !!

I have the Trap Door LR and MBG Dusk Devil sight on my Outback. Really like this setup, but there are a lot of good options for you. Good luck.

Been Shooting my Outback since March and love it! I have a NAP Quicktune 2000RG Drop Away rest and a Vital Bow Gear Trapper sight. The sight is a vertical sight. Along with a peep sight, this is almost like looking through a scope.

I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you choose. Enjoy your Outback.
