A very sad day

Yes,
today SUCKED.I was forced to sell my new LX back to my dealer. Now he has my LX,,,AND my SQ2.Because of some unexpected cost that popped up durring my closeing/construction loan,I'm alittle short on cash.I'm getting a new pool in a week or so,and my wife KEPT on telling me how there was nothing wrong with my "old" bow.
(even if you're just kidding....don't even write it.)
So,,it's looking like a new bow in 2005[:o]
For now I'll be calling on a few friends with extra bows lying around.Hope I can find one that fits[&:]

hard to believe the cost of a bow could make a difference in getting pool or not getting one . beings you probably did not get what you paid for it

Droptines,
Look at it this way. When you get ready to get a new bow next year you will have lots of leverage. Use the pool as leverage. This is how I keep buying all my goodies. When the wife starts to give me a little grief, I say "honey, I put a $30,000 pool in for you last summer. Don't you think I deserve to have a few toys too?" Works like a charm every time!:)

Priorities man... you got to have priorities.

"If you really loved me..... we'd have a new pool".

"If you really loved me..... you'd have an old bow".

When she said....

"Choose!!!!"

Wellllllllllllllllllllllll..... you missed your chance.[&:]

Laugh it up.... enjoy the pool. You just got major brownie suckup points.

YUP... looks like a new bow for 2005.;)

ANnnnnnnnnddddddddddddd..... the next time maybe you'll make the right choice... Buy Darton. Nyuck Nyuck Nyuck... I couldn't resist.[8D]

SEE.... you feel better already. It's good to bear the soul.

;) Stock that chlorine free pool and do a little bow fishing. Please don't miss, those liners are hell to repair and costly. Just anchor the little miss at one end and periodically yell to her."PAYBACKS ARE HELL"!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):)!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the few "good" ideas guys. The bowfishing might be fun.
Things are getting worse !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.I go out this morning to get a few stands that I left out from last season,,only to find my favorite,,,SMASHED.It was still chained to the tree, only it was in 2 twisted pieces.A big pine tree,15' away from my tree, fell down.It smashed up against my stand on the way down.

Who is going to use the pool the most, you or her? My guess is her. Sounds like a trade to me. Pool for her, bow for you. Sounds fair to me!!!
