I would also add the Hoyt Banshee as an option if it fits her. The key is accuracy, and keeping the kids interested. They should keep a better interest if they are hitting close to the bullseye!

I bought my 10 year old the Browning Micro Eclipse. She started with a Golden Eagle Brave, but complained that she wanted a "REAL BOW". I paid $219 for the package that included the bow, a quiver, sight, stabilizer and the tm hunter rest I purchased separately. It adjusts from 21 inch to 24 inch draw. A lightweight bow that she loves to shoot!

Browning Micro Midas II kit is another option to look at. A local sporting goods store with a small archery shop had them for $179.00 a while back. The have the growth insurance program I think they call it to adapt to growing draw length and weight. The Cams have 5" or 6" draw length adjustment in each range.

a nice little 20-25lb recurve. You can buy them from 3 rivers for about 20-30 bucks! Get some of there kids arras!!! If she really likes it then jump up to a better bow! Right now its the perfect opportunity to share the time and enjoy the time before getting really serious! Besides its all about having fun! I have seen to many kids ruined by parents who push the sport of archery on to them! Unfortunatly those who do nothing are about as bad. they buy there kids a bow and never find time to take them out!!!

I started out with a Hoyt Mystic rebel, which is close to the same as the Banshee.

My bro-in-law just got his 5 year old a Browning Micro Adrenaline for Xmas. The full package(sights, rest, arrows, quiver), left handed, from edersbow was $189 with free shipping. I don't know if the free shipping deal is still going. The kid loves it and is dead on at 10 yards already. He has it set at 20# and can upgrade the limbs for $30 in the future. Sounds like an awesome deal to me.
